Reviewers are a great resource for vapers. Most everything you're looking to buy has most likely been put through the paces by someone and their opinions of it posted on the web. Usually it's video reviews on You Tube, but there are also text reviews on various sites, boards and subs dedicated to vaping.

These are the reviewers I've been following. They mostly do hardware reviews. For juice reviews, I recommend checking out juicedb.com., a great looking site run by dedicated vapers and where you can also leave your own reviews.
